You can use the portal on your phone, tablet, or computer. You don't have to create a login and password to use this portal, instead it will send verification codes to your email or phone when you login.
Here are some helpful tips for how to use the portal
Verification Codes:
Initially when you click on the portal link it will send a verification code to your email which you will need to enter to verify and open the portal.
If you would prefer the verification code to be sent to your phone – once you are in the portal click the 3 lines top left, select gear icon “Settings” then enter your phone number.
Select Enable SMS Reminders and Enable Two-Factor Authentication
Requests:
This is where you will see requests for you to upload your tax documents, fill out your tax questionnaire, and review and sign your engagement letter. Login to the portal and click the 3 lines top left, select the clipboard icon “Requests” click on open requests and get started.
Keep in mind some items will require that you download them, fill them out, and/or sign them. Then you will upload them as an attachment.
Chats:
You can use this portal to “chat” with us, it’s like sending a text message and our messages back and forth will be saved in the portal so if you ever forget the information that was discussed you can go back in and look through our chats. To chat just login to the portal and click the 3 lines top left, select the message icon “Chat” and get started. You can also upload/attach documents within a chat.
Documents:
Upload documents here via drag & drop on your computer or click to upload. Click the 3 lines top left, select the folder icon “Documents”.
This is also where you can securely access documents that I will save for you, such as copies of your completed tax returns.
The top right paper with an arrow icon is how you exit the portal
